ASG, originally known as Moora Seed Works, was established in 1968 by Mr Les Thompson. A well-supported and successful business from the onset, it continued to grow and prosper and in 1972 expanded from grading just clover to include grading cereals.
In the early 1970’s Les’s extended family were invited to join the business to help finance and support further expansion. Under Les’s guidance the family business continued its winning ways with the current suite of directors joining the business in the late 1980s.
The name of the business was changed to Australian Seed & Grain to better describe the direction the company was heading in. Extensive refubishment of equipment was completed in October 2001 with upgrades to both the coarse grain and small seed grading plants.
ASG is proud to be a top quality, state-of-the-art grading plant servicing grain growers in Western Australian. Today ASG staff process, market and export grain for many farmers and other associated companies.
